Apple is looking to hold nothing back in the next release in the famed iPhone series as premium specs are no longer a thing to wish for. Most consumers take for granted many of the items on our wish lists when looking for a new smartphone and in 2016 Apple will to. The 2016 iPhone 7 release is expected to integrate some features that are typically found in flagships including a waterproof design and shatter-proof glass.

Rumors on the 2016 iPhone 7 concept are increasing each day, and this will only become more as we get closer to next year. With more than a year left until we see the debut of the iPhone 7, the increasing rumors gives us much to look forward to. A waterproof design is something that Apple enthusiasts have been asking for, and with the 2016 Apple iPhone 7 release it will finally be here. The waterproof feature comes with the recent info on the new patent signed by Apple which makes it all possible.

Other features expected to be seen in the iPhone 7 concept is a new shatterproof glass. Apple has been going with the Gorilla Glass that’s seen in most flagships, but the stronger Sapphire screen is more likely. The Sapphire variant provides up to 30% more protection and will ultimately give you piece of mind from drops, scratches, and other types of screen damage. The fragility of the iPhone screen is one of the biggest complaints that have been seen in previous releases.

There have also been rumors on a dual layer protection. This comes as no surprise as Apple looks to one up all of the top smartphone manufacturers as dual protection would make use of a Gorilla Glass underlay with a Sapphire protection overlay.

We’re expecting to hear much more on the new iPhone 7 concept well before the expected September 2016 worldwide release. For even more, be sure to check out the latest on the new solar charging feature.
