Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra Rumors; New Sony Phablet in 2016

It looks like Sony will be joining the ranks of Samsung, Apple, and LG in 2016, at least it’s looking that way. The Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra is rumored to be a 6” premium Phablet that is expected to rival the 2016 releases of the Galaxy Note 6, LG G5 Note, and the iPhone 7 Plus. 2016 is shaping up to be the year of the Phablet, and there will be many premium Phablets to choose from.

The release of the Xperia Z5 is a foregone conclusion, but the new Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra rumors are not. The new Sony Phablet is expected to be appeal to Sony enthusiasts while giving you yet another Z5 option to choose from. The Xperia Z5 Ultra is said to be released alongside the Xperia Compact, and the standard 5.5” Z5.

The Xperia Z5 Ultra is rumored to be 6 – 6.1 inches, and feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.9 GHZ. There are also rumors that the Z5 Ultra will feature a 3D screen. This will give consumers the ability to view pictures, video, and even surf the net in true 3D without the need of 3D glasses.

There are many Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra rumors introducing a new camera sensor that will run in conjunction with the OIS feature that we have seen in previous releases. Sporting a 6 – 8 MP front camera, 24 – 27 MP rear camera, an APCS sensor, and 3D viewing, expect the Z5 Ultra camera experience to be one of the best features.
