iPhone 7 Rumors on the New Waterproof Patent by Apple

According to rumors on a new patent signed by Apple, waterproof technology is on the way. We’ve been hoping for a waterproof design in the previous releases, and it appears that the iPhone 7 will be the first. This will work well with the high quality camera specs rumored, and are expected to become a popular feature for water lovers. The waterproof technology is expected to be rated to IP67 standards, which means it will be fine in up to 1 meter of water, and for a duration of no more than 30 minutes.

Besides the waterproof design, we are hearing more and more on the inclusion of a Sapphire glass instead of the Gorilla Glass. The Sapphire screen will truly add to the visual appeal and improved the durability issues that has plagued previous iPhones. The Sapphire glass is expected to have an even better effect on the true 3D display of the iPhone 7 concept.
