It looks like LG isn’t the only kid on the block looking to integrate a foldable display into their 2016 Samsung smartphones as new rumors suggest Samsung is looking to do the same. Samsung electronics have always surprised us with innovative technology, and it looks like the year 2016 they will be doing more of the same. As the pioneers with the Edge concept and Phablets, next year looks to be yet another new trend.
The future trend of 2016 smartphones is looking like the year for a foldable display as both LG and Samsung are rumored to be introducing the new concept. New 2016 Samsung rumors have been uncovered as the tech giant has already disclosed their future plans of all smartphones for next year. With the idea that at least 40% of their new lineups next year will feature more of a portable concept in their new lineup of OLED 2016 Samsung smartphones.
As of this time, there’s no official word out of Korea as to which model will feature the foldable display or if it will be more than one, or if there will be a new Samsung model in 2016 all-together. The Samsung Galaxy Round series is probably the most likely scenario due to its already unique nature. LG has already been rumored to be doing the same with current rumors suggesting it will be the LG G Flex 3.
